International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council Europe (in short, IPEC Europe) Guidelines
The International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council Europe (in short, IPEC Europe) brings producers, distributors and users of pharmaceutical excipients together in one place. We provide a welcoming environment to share experiences and knowledge to learn and to lead the future of excipients.
Our members engage in an open dialogue with one clear mission: quality excipients for medicines. We develop and promote harmonised guidelines to create the appropriate quality and functionality standards to improve patient safety.
Our internationally accepted guidelines give recognition to the value of our collaborative efforts.
Since 2010, together with its sister associations, IPEC- Americas, IPEC Japan, IPEC China and IPEC India, IPEC Europe is a member of IPEC Federation whose global membership extends to more than 250 companies.
In 2008, IPEC Europe initiated with other industry experts the development of a certification scheme for excipients suppliers that has become the free-standing association EXCiPACT in January 2014.
